आपुल्याला तुम्ही रूपासी समजा । कासया वरजा आरसिया ॥१॥

हें तों नव्हे देहबुद्धीचें कारण । होईल नारायणें दान केलें ॥२॥

बब्रूचिया बाणें वर्मासि स्पर्शावें । हें तों नाहीं ठावें मोकलित्या ॥३॥

तुका म्हणे बहु मुखें या वचना । सत्याविण जाणा चाली नाहीं ॥४॥

Roman Text

1. Aapulyaala tumhee rupaasee samaja, kaasaya varaja aarasiya

2. He to navhe dehabudheeche kaaran, hoyil Narayane daan kele

3. Babroochiya baane varmaasi sparshaave, he to nahee thaave mokalitya

4. Tuka mhane bahu mukhe ya vachana, satyaavin jaana chaalee naahee.

Translation

1. Please try to understand your own appearance (may be its bad). But, why just throw away the mirror through anger?

2. You don't get a good appearance or a good personality only by devloping awareness of your body and taking good care of your body. You will get it only if Shri Narayan decides to grant you that boon.

3. Tuka says, when an evil man shoots arrows of insults, it pains the heart of the victim, but the shooter doesn't know that

4. Tuka says, it is known to all that there is no entry in the world of spirituality without practising truth.
