- Sada majhe dola jado Tujhi murtee, Rakhumaichya pati Soyariya
- Goad tujhe roop goad tujhe naam, Dei maj prem sarva kaal
- Vitho mauliye hachi var dei, Sancharoni rahi hrudayee majhya
- Tuka mhane kahi na mago anik, Tujhe payee sarva such aahe.
Translation
Saint Tukaram’s or Tukoba’s sole desire is that God should stay in his heart for ever. Then he doesn’t need anything because he gets all the pleasures from God. He expresses his sole wish in this short and sweet abhanga of 4 lines.
- Oh my dearest and closest to the heart! Oh the Husband of Goddess Mother Rakhumai, May my eyes be ever glued on You
- Your face is sweet Your name is sweet, Do give me love for these all the time
- Oh Mother Vithumaulee, give me this blessing
- That you will stay in my heart forever!
