Translation
This abhanga is about saints. They have to face a lot of hardships and trials, especially severe opposition from selfish and exploitative people in the society. They detest the saints because of their ways of bringing honest, love and good culture in the society and wedding out the bad tendencies.
- A diamond, kept in an anvil, which does not break even after getting hard blows from a hammer, is a true diamond.
- Such diamond alone has a high worth. A fake diamond, made from glass, will immediately get crushed into powder.
- The bead which does not allow the cotton thread (in which it is woven) to burn in the mouth of fire is only a true ' mohara' bead. (This is a property of a bead known by the name 'mohara').
- Tuka says, only that person is a true saint who withstands severe blows from the society.
