Tukaram Gatha Abhanga 43

पवित्र सोंवळीं । एक तींच भूमंडळीं ॥१॥

ज्यांचा आवडता देव । अखंडित प्रेमभाव ॥२॥

तींच भाग्यवंतें । सरतीं पुरतीं धनवित्तें ॥३॥

तुका म्हणे देवा । त्यांची केली पावे सेवा ॥४॥

English

1. Pavitra sovali, ek teech bhoomandalee
2. Jyancha aavadata dev, akhandit prembhaav
3. Teech bhagyavante, sarati purati dhanavitte
4. Tuka mhane deva, tyanchee kelee paave seva

Translation

In this abhanga, Saint Tukaram is expressing his high esteem for those who love God and serve God (Their love for God is expressed by their serving God, Who has expressed Himself in the form of the entire human world and the animate as well as inanimate world).

1. The only people on this earth who are holy and pure (from ritual purity point of view) are those,
2. who love God very much and whose minds are incessantly immersed in love for God.
3. These devotees are the only fortunate people and they are indeed replete with wealth (this is the real wealth or they not have to seek any other wealth).
4. Tuka says, any service to such persons reaches God. (Serving them is as good as serving God).
