Tukaram Gatha Abhanga 22

आम्ही तरी आस । जालो टाकोनि उदास ।।१।।

आतां कोण भय धरी । पुढें मरणाचें हरी ।।२।।

भलते ठायी पडों । देह तुरंगीं हा चढों ।।३।।

तुमचें तुम्हांपाशीं । आम्ही आहों जैसीं तैसीं ।।४।।

गेले मानामान । सुखदुःखाचें खंडन ।।५।।

तुका म्हणे चित्तीं । नाही वागवीत खंती ।।६।।

English

1. Aamhee taree aas, jaalo taakoni udaas
2. Aata kon bhay dharee, pudhe marnaache Hari
3. Bhalate thaai pado, deh turangee ha chadho
4. Tumache tumhaapashee, aamhi aaho jaisi taisi
5. Gele manaamaan, sukhadukhaache khandan
6. Tuka mhane chittee, nahee vagaveet khantee

Translation

1. I have shed all desires, as have become indifferent to the worldly joys and sorrows. 
2. So, who will be afraid of death?
3. Let this body fall and end anywhere, or may it ride on a horse.
4. The worldly joys and sorrows are all Yours and let them remain with You alone. I am OK as I am.
5. Reverence from the society or insult, have ceased to make any difference. Now, worldly joys and sorrows are finished (they have ceased to have any real existence).
6. Tuka says, there are no regrets in his heart.
