वदे वाणी परि दुर्लभ अनुभवो | चालीचाची वाहो बहुतेक ||१||
आम्ही ऐसें कैसें राहावें निश्चळ | पाठिलागा काळ जिंकितसे ||२||
तुका म्हणे बरें जागवितां मना | तुमच्या नारायणा अभी करें ||४||

1. Vade vaanee pari durlabh anubhavo, chaaleechaachee vaaho bahutek
2. Aamhee aise kaise raahaave nichhal, paathilaaga kaal jinkitase
3. Vaadahavita poat dambhaache pasaare, yeteel maaghaare mudala tote
4. Tuka mhane bare jaagavita mana, tumachya Naaraayana abhee kare.
Translation
1. There is a lot which can be talked about. But, it is very difficult to get an actual experience (of God Realization). Most people just follow what others do. That is the common practice.
2. In such situation, how can I just stay without doing something? I have to do something, because the demon of death (Kaal) is continuously chasing me. It wants to win over me.
3. I cannot just pretend about spirituality and devotion, only for filling my stomach. That will mean that I'll lose my entire capital (Everything that I have earned in spirituality so far).
4. Tuka says, Oh God! The best thing for me to do is to stay alert, with the full assurance of protection from You.
