आमुची कृपाळू तूं होसी माउली । विठ्ठले साउली शरणागता ॥१॥
प्रेमपान्हा स्तनीं सदा सर्वकाळ । दृष्टी हे निर्मळ अमृताची ॥२॥
भूक तान दुःख वाटों नेदीं सीण । अंतरींचा गुण जाणोनियां ॥३॥
तुका म्हणे लावीं संताचा सांगात । जेथें न पवे हात कळीकाळाचा ॥५॥

1. Aamuchi krupaalu too hosee maaulee, Vithhale saaulee sharanaagata
2. Prempaanha stanee sada sarvakaal, drushtee he nirmal amrutaachee
3. Bhook taan dukkha vaato nedee seen, aantareecha gun jaanoniya
4. Aasha trushna maaya chinta davadee duree, thaav aamha karee khelaavaya
5. Tuka mhane laavee santaancha saangaat, jethe na pave haat kaleekaalaacha.
Translation
This he is a lovely description of the various great qualities, great attributes of Shri Vitthal. Tukaram Maharaj has wonderfully conveyed his great feeling of love for Shri Vitthal in this abhang.
1. Oh Vitthal! You are the ever benevolent mother for those who come to your shelter. You are as close to them as their own shadow.
2. Oh my motherly God! May the milk of love be ready at all the times in your breasts for me. May your clean Eyes shower a bliss of Elixir on me all the time.
3. May I never get troubled by hunger, thirst, sorrow or botheration. You very well know the qualities in my heart.
4. You have expelled from me the obstacles of expectations, worry, longing and illusion (Maya). You have created for me a place to play in your original transcendental form.
5. Tuka says, Oh God! Please give me the company of saints. Let it be in such a place where the hand of death cannot reach.
