तुजचि पासाव जालोंसे निर्माण । असावें तें भिन्न कासयानें ॥१॥

पाहावा जी ठायीं करूनि विचार । न्यून कोठें फार असेचि ना ॥2॥

ठेविलिये ठायीं आज्ञेचें पाळण । करूनि जतन राहिलेसें ॥3॥

तुका म्हणें आतां बोलतसें स्पष्ट । जालों क्रियानष्ट तुह्मा ऐसा ॥4॥

1. Tujachi pasaav jaalonse nirmaaṇ, asaave te bhinna kaasayaane

2. Pahavaa ji thayee karuni vichar, nyun kothe faar asechi na

3. Theviliye thaayee aadnyeche palan, karuni jatan rahilese

4. Tuka mhane aata bolatase spasht, jaalon kriyaanastaa tumhaa aisa.

Translation

1. Oh God! I have originated from you. Is that right? Then how did I get separated from you?

2. Please, You must think about this, God! There should be nothing lesser in me than you.

3. I have been obeying your orders and staying in the same place where you have decided to keep me.

4. Tuka says, God! I will speak very frankly. Now, I have become a non-doer, just like you. (Meaning I do karmas but with the conviction that I not the doer. So, the karmas do not affect me).
