वर्म तरि आम्हां दावा । काय देवा जाणें मी ॥१॥

बहुतां रंगीं हीन जालों । तरि आलों शरण ॥२॥

द्याल जरि तुम्हीं धीर । होइल स्थिर मन ठायीं ॥३॥

तुका म्हणे सत्ताबळें । लडिवाळें राखावीं ॥४॥

1. Varma tari aamha daava, kaay deva jaane mee

2. Bahuta rangee heen jaalo, tari aalo sharan

3. Dyaal jari tumhee dheer, hoeel sthir man thaayi

4. Tuka mhane sattabale, ladivaale raakhaavee.

Translation

1. Oh God please show me the key to reaching you because I just don't know how to do that.

2. My senses have taken me to very low levels, because of their indulgence in sensual pleasures. I have become desperate and I surrender at your feet.

3. My mind will become stable and I will be able to concentrate at your feet, only if you console me.

4. Tuka says,Oh God! Please use your authority, your power and protect this doted child of yours.
