एवढा प्रभु भावें । तेणें संपुष्टी राहावें ॥१॥

होय भक्ती केला तैसा । पुरवी धरावी ते इच्छा ॥२॥

एवढा जगदानी । माग तुळसीदळ पाणी ॥३॥

आला नांवा रूपा । तुका म्हणे जाला सोपा ॥४॥

Roman Script

1. Evadha prabhu bhaave, tene sampushee raahaave

2. Hoy bhaktee kela taisa, puravee dharaavee te ichha

3. Evadha jagadaanee, maag tulaseedal paanee

4. Aala naava rupa, Tuka mhane jaala sopa.

Translation

1. This God (Vitthal) is so big, but he stays in the small box of the devotee’s heart.

2. He blesses his devotee in accordance with the kind of his worship. He fulfils the desire of the devotee.

3. He is such a big donor in this world, but he asks from his devotees, only a single small leaf of Tulsi plant or just a drop of water.

4. This God has in fact assumed this name (Vitthal) and manifested this form only for sake of his devotees. Tuka says, he has also become very easily reachable.
