Translation
This Abhang shows Saint Tukaram's love for people
who love God, expressed in a rather different way.
1. If a person
is not wearing a bead called Krishnamani in his neck (meaning if he is not
chanting the name of Lord Shrikrishna), then his voice should be considered as
inauspicious, even if it may be sweet!
2. Such person,
no matter whether man or woman, should be considered as a prostitute.
3. What is the
use of a man who is not brave enough to wear the ornament of a donor in his
hands (doesn't give donations with his hands)?
4. Saints have
thrown out such persons from their group, and have criticized and embarrassed
them completely.
5. Tuka says, a
person who has gone berserk, will no doubt face unfavorable times and
eventually perish.
